Open Datalogging Project


There are four key components to this project:
  1. sensors
    to start with the two main sensors available will be light and temperature.  It is intended to extend the project to allow the use of standard 1v sensors.
  2. interface system
    to convert the resistance or voltage into a pulse train that can be passed to the line input of a PC sound card.
  3. software
    to log and/or display the signals on the PC.
  4. worksheets
    to support the use of the systems in the classroom.
All of this will be published under an appropriate free and open licence - circuits and worksheets under Creative Commons and the software under the GPL.
